Halloween came from the celtic culture, the celts name it SamhainThey celebrated their new year on November 1. This day marked the end of summer the beginning of the dark, cold winter, a time of year that was often associated with human death. On the night of October 31, just the night before the new year, they celebrated Samhain, when it was believed that the ghosts of the dead returned to earth
So on the night of October 31, villagers would extinguish the fires in their homes, to make them cold and undesirable. They would then dress up in all manner of ghoulish costumes and noisily paraded around the neighborhood, being as destructive as possible in order to frighten away spirits looking for bodies to possess.
Then ,during the irish immigration, the americans adopted this festival, and they made it big and commercial, like everything else...
So folks, I´m having a halloween party in two weeks time, and need some help to choose the custom. What custom you think can suits me better?

Trick or treat? :-)
